Rest assured the committee has been working hard on the preparation of this event. It started last August and will continue until the last members has left the venue, so please spare a little of your own time and effort on your club in helping out on the day or in its preparation.

As some of you may know if you are a regular visitor to the website, there were a number of people who wished to go back to some sort of circuit. However the level of support we get for track days, accompanied by the risk the weather brings has led us to having Prescott Hill as a suitable compromise. This venue has been chosen because it offers the nearest opportunity to that which members requested, Track action at an affordable price. Non-competitive runs up this famous Hill Climb venue will be on offer, so you will be free to chose your own pace and have the Hill all to yourself to explore the limits of your car (and driving). Plenty of parking is available for static displays and with its own pit area it should make quite a day. In addition to the things that made Pugfest 01 a success, additional attractions are being planned as this is being written, so look for the booking form in the next edition of Torque to guarantee your place.

So what does your club need from you? To start with, someone to design the Pugfest 02 flyer and then volunteers to get them posted at various locations. You need to get companies aware of this event too and hopefully you can persuade them to turn up and offer goods to help lighten member's pockets on the day. Next it needs all of you to get out there and tell the world about this event. At the risk of repeating ourselves, we are of course looking for a number of volunteers to help on the day, and possibly the set-up on Saturday 27th July. To play your part in this important event, contact Mike Nash at or contact him on 07939 511484

Remember it's your Club.

At Prescott you will ascend the hill from standing start to flying finish. A good start is vitally important, avoiding wheelspin, to make the most of your run. It's all about speed, power, handling and precision. Prescott's tough and demanding 1,127 yard course is suitable challenge for even the top drivers which is sometimes mastered but never beaten. Set in a niche in the Cotswold hills, Prescott has superb viewing for all spectators, so you can get close enough to watch the drivers in action. Spectators can get a really good view of the start and see the action from many excellent viewpoints on the hill. All spectators will be welcome in the Paddock for a close view of the cars during the day. Extensive facilities make Prescott one of the finest Speed Hillclimb venues in the country.

All members purchasing advanced tickets will be parked in the Members Paddock Area. Members who pay on the day, may not gain access to members area.

Sound off: Due to noise restrictions, this time it will not be possible.

Please note: This is a motorsport Venue. Obey all Marshalls Instructions. No animals
During your runs:Red Flag means STOP. You must give way on the return road. No overtaking on the Hill. Cars must be Road Legal. The Marshalls decision is Final.

Prescott Hill is the home of the Bugatti Owners Club and is one of the most challenging Venues on the Hillclimb Circuit, with excellent track and viewing vacilities. We have arranged for the Bugatti Museum to be open and admission price is included with your tickets.
We will of course be inviting many traders and companies along on the day and ask you if you know any that may be interested to contact one of the organising committee. We already have many interested parties, but more are always welcome.
